Trauma Case Consultations

With Rachel Malquist LPC-S

Welcome. Let's find your clinical footing.

I know the weight of the work you’re doing. Navigating cases involving Childhood Ritual Abuse (CRA), DID, and Complex Trauma is both clinically demanding and at times, deeply isolating. When you are witnessing narratives of organized abuse and structural dissociation, the standard "trauma-informed" tools often feel insufficient. Because they are.

Who Am I?

My name is Rachel Malquist, LPC-S.  I am the founder of The Hope Place in Mansfield, TX.  I created this space to be trauma responsive, not just trauma informed.  I have worked closely with DID for over a decade and have helped many clients navigate their systems and their lives. I have worked in shelters for abused women, done deployments with the Red Cross in disaster mental health, and I have been treating trauma my entire career. I’ve worked with human trafficking victims, childhood ritual abuse, DID systems, Complex trauma, PTSD, Veterans Issues and various other forms of trauma including medical and betrayal.

I use a solution focused therapy approach and accelerated resolution therapy for processing.  I also use Revisioning, which involves drawing and looking at the drawing in a mirror to activate mirror neurons to open spaces for internal communication.

I'm very good at discerning different parts based on various physical changes, and I can explain complicated topics in simple ways such as structural disassociation.

How I Support You

I offer consultation specifically designed for clinicians who need more than just a sounding board. My goal is to help you hold the weight of these cases without losing your own balance. We will focus on:

  • Interpretation: I can teach you how to understand different alters and their needs or to assess for dissassociation.

  • CRA Dynamics: Understanding organized abuse patterns, programmed systems, and specialized safety protocols.

  • System Mapping: Moving from confusion to clarity by identifying gatekeepers, protectors, and internal hierarchies.

  • The "Phased" Approach: Ensuring your client remains stabilized while you navigate high-level dissociative barriers.

  • Therapist Decompression: Addressing the vicarious trauma and "counter-system" activation that often occurs in this niche.

What to Expect

Our sessions are structured as 90-minute Clinical Case Consultations. This is not a lecture; it is a tactical working session. We will review your de-identified case material, map out the system’s current needs, and leave you with 2–3 concrete interventions for your next session.

Policies & Booking

  • Location: I am available to meet in person at The Hope Place or via Google Meet. Please select your preferred method when you schedule your consult. I do very few of these a month.

  • Consultation vs. Supervision: Please note that I provide clinical consultation, not legal supervision. You remain the primary clinician responsible for the case.

  • Payment: To respect the highly specialized nature of this time, full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • Cancellations: I maintain a strict 72-hour cancellation policy.
