Horses Helping Heal

Stephanie Kimmel, Equine Specialist - Certified in Equine Facilitated Learning

Stephanie is an Equine Specialist certified in Equine Facilitated Learning. Her work, what she refers to as ‘Mindful Horsemanship’, involves partnering a client with horses to facilitate personal change through metaphorical learning.

Stephanie has a remarkable ability to create a safe space where the client has the opportunity to explore their unique situation for themselves and ultimately to help them shift their perspectives into healthier, more effective patterns. She also often works alongside an LPC in Equine Assisted Counseling, a process that involves therapeutic change and growth with the support of horses.

Stephanie has experience as a riding instructor and horse trainer specializing in positive reinforcement. She also has cared for many different types of animals, including horses, cows, goats, pigs, cats, dogs, donkeys, mules, zebras, okapi, birds, monkeys, and other wildlife.

Along with animals, Stephanie has a passion for sustainable living and Permaculture. She received her Permaculture Design Certification from Eco-versity. She is currently enrolled in the Eco-Landscape Mastery School.
