Heather McCarley, M.S., CCC-SLP Speech-Language Pathologist

Heather is a pediatric speech-language pathologist dedicated to helping children grow in their communication, feeding, and oral motor skills with confidence and ease. She is passionate about creating positive, supportive experiences that foster a healthy relationship with both communication and food.

Heather believes that the most meaningful therapy outcomes are achieved through strong, trusting relationships and active parent involvement. She is deeply committed to empowering families with the knowledge and tools they need to confidently support and advocate for their child’s needs well beyond the therapy setting.

She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas and her master’s degree from Baylor University. Since Heather began practicing in 2018, she has provided care across home health and private practice settings, working with children from birth through adolescence.

Heather has advanced training and specialization in pediatric feeding and dysphagia, orofacial myofunctional therapy, speech sound disorders, and early language development. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practice and delivered through a thoughtful, play-based, and highly individualized model of care.

Heather provides comprehensive support across the pediatric lifespan—from introducing solids and guiding children with complex medical needs toward oral feeding, to treating orofacial myofunctional disorders, speech sound disorders, and early language delays. Her goal is to deliver intentional, high-quality care that creates lasting, functional progress for every child and family she serves.
